Line of Thoughts, a 6.5-metre-tall bronze sculpture located on a concrete base on the water’s edge, is located at the entrance to Strömpilsplatsen. Like a corkscrew, the sculpture twists around its own axis, creating human profiles as we move around it. Like thoughts that trigger the imagination, golden faces emerge toward the river and its surroundings. The stationary sculpture is dynamic; it is visually shaped by its viewers.
Weighing over four tonnes, the sculpture is made in different sections that are stacked on top of one another and joined into a whole that stands out against the sky and Kolbäcksbron bridge. Its placement on the bank, its reflections of light and its billowy surface reinforce the impression of streaming, dynamic shapes.
