Project Description

Granite walls along the brook and hillside up towards Hoppets Gränd have shaped this park. The terraces are planted with small trees, bushes and perennials. The park has many interesting plants, such as katsura, spindle tree, dwarf Russian almond, Rudbeckia laciniata, Sargent’s cherry, boxelder maple and Acer ginnala. The perennials are primarily ground cover like crane’s bill and red barrenwort, but there are also larger perennials, like black cohosh. Over 4,000 bulbs were planted in the park to provide beautiful spring flowering.
